Where are you based?

I’m currently based in beautiful Southbridge in Canterbury, New Zealand. I grew up and got married in Canterbury, so I feel quite at home here, although I did live and work in Wellington for over 10 years.


Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I absolutely love travelling for weddings. Discovering new places and special locations to capture is such an inspiring part of my work as a wedding photographer. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings in Wellington, Christchurch, Akaroa, Stavely, Marlborough Sounds, Kaikoura, and the Bay of Plenty.


How long have you been a photographer?

Over 10 years now, but I’ve loved photography a lot longer. Read my story over on my About page!


How many wedding photographs will I receive?

This largely depends on the photography package we put together for you, but you can expect between 400 and 900 lovingly edited images from your special day.


Do your packages include high resolution files to print from?

Yes! You’ll receive a USB stick and an online gallery of your photos in high resolution and ready for printing.


Will I be able to share my photos on social media?

Of course! As the photographer, I own the copyright to all my images but you’ll get a special licence that allows you to print and share your photos as much as you want.


Will you post photos of our wedding on social media?

Not without your permission! I love sharing my work on my website and social media, but will always check with you before posting anything online.


How long does it take to edit wedding photos?

My turnaround time is around 6–8 weeks from the date of your wedding, but you’ll receive a sneak peek of 10 photos within one week.


Can you recommend any other wedding vendors?

I would love to! I’ve worked with some extremely talented catering companies, stylists, celebrants, florists, and venues. Take a look through my Journal page to find links to some of my favourites, or get in touch for local recommendations!


How many weddings do you photograph per year?

I usually photograph between 15 and 20 weddings a year. I limit the number of clients I take on so I can give each couple the undivided attention and gorgeous photos they deserve.


Do you have an assistant or second shooter when you are photographing a wedding?

I’m the main photographer at every wedding I shoot, but sometimes I’ll bring along an assistant to help me capture all the tiny details of your special day. We’ll discuss ahead of time whether you want or need a second photographer at your wedding.


What camera equipment do you use?

I shoot with full-frame professional Nikon cameras and prime lenses. Typically, I shoot with two cameras and my two favourite lenses (a 35mm and 85mm), although I bring a range of extras to weddings — just in case! 


Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, I require a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your wedding date in my calendar. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding.
