Simple, intimate and classy Britten Stables Wedding | Anna & Craig

Q. In three words describe your wedding style?

Simple, intimate, classy

Q. What was your favourite moment from your wedding?

Hearing Craig’s vows, I was so blown away by what he had written it was definitely a special moment hearing those

Q. What was the most difficult part of planning your wedding? And the most fun?

The most difficult part of planning the wedding was trying to do it around a toddler, working full time then a newborn as well, dress fitting when your pregnant and then only a few weeks postpartum is also very challenging!

The most fun part was picking the venue, photographer, florist and cake. I really enjoyed wasting time scouring the internet , looking at all the pictures of beautiful venues, flowers, cakes and photography portfolios - how good is Instagram for all these things!

Q. Did you DIY? If so, what did you do?

I put together some candles for the table and added some glitter, other than that I can’t really say I did any DYI!

Q. Any advice for couples planning their wedding?

Go with your gut when decision making, you need to really click and feel comfortable with the people you will be working closely with to make your day everything you want it to be, from venue management to hair / makeup, photographer and celebrant!

Q. What do you love most about your photos? What was it like having Caroline as your wedding photographer?

I knew as soon as I saw Caroline’s work on her Instagram page and then her website that she was the photographer we had to have!

I love that our photos are everything I was expecting and more, I can look at our photos and I am taken right back to our day. Caroline captured every special moment perfectly, I love that she captured moments that may have seemed insignificant at the time - but these moments have made for some of my favourite photos!

Caroline was so helpful in the lead up to the wedding, she suggested vendors for me to contact in regards to flowers, hair / makeup etc, and helped me come up with a timeline for the day

Our wedding was super small - immediate family only, I did not have a bridal party. Caroline was with me whilst getting ready and taking photos of my two young children. On this day she was not just our wedding photographer, she felt like an old friend I had known for a long time, calming my nerves and helping me get in to my dress!

The whole family commented on how amazing Caroline was, buzzing around getting all the important shots but in a way where we would barely notice she was there!

I would not hesitate to recommend Caroline to anybody who was looking for a wedding photographer! I think picking a good photographer is one of the most important decisions you will make for your special day, and picking Caroline was one decision I’m so glad I made!
